7th - 8th Jan 2015 | Leeds, UK

The UK Society for Cell Culture and Biotechnology.

The 25th annual ESACT-UK meeting is set to be a special event to celebrate 25 years and will include keynote speakers, including Dr Malcolm Rhodes and Dr Stephen Ward, and a black tie gala dinner.

Based in the UK, ESACT-UK is a Society which promotes the communication of knowledge and experience between scientists and engineers whose work has a direct or indirect bearing on cell culture biotechnology and the products derived from it. A particular emphasis is to ensure both the inclusion, and the active participation, of less experienced scientists in industry or academic institutions.

The full conference agenda is to be confirmed; however you can view the preliminary programme here.

On Thursday 8th January, Cobra's Commercial Director Julian Hanak is set to chair Session 5 – Into the Marketplace, and CSO Dr Daniel Smith will present ‘Gene therapies and the requirement of large-scale Plasmid DNA production’.
